About Birdworld Leisure

At just a 15-minute hop from the Menai Bridge, Birdworld Leisure is a tiny, peaceful touring site with far-reaching views to the peaks of Eryri National Park. The spacious grass pitches are level and non-electric, with modern facilities on the edge of the field—including a large, wheelchair-accessible shower block with plenty of hot water. Anglers can try the on-site fishing lake or the River Briant running through the neighbouring field, while dog owners have direct access to forest walks at Newborough and the sands of Llanddwyn Beach.

Campfires and barbecues are both allowed, adding to the wild, remote feel—though you'll need to self-cater or drive for meals. The nearest supermarket is in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll (15 minutes), with a handful of pubs and cafés within five minutes by car, plus seafront restaurants in Rhosneigr (20 minutes). Duke of Edinburgh groups, rallies and student parties are all welcome, making this one of Anglesey's most flexible and family-friendly budget boltholes.

Absolutely brilliant campsite! 5 stars all round. The site was spotless and very well maintained, with clean facilities and plenty of space. Really family friendly atmosphere — safe for children and everyone was welcoming and respectful. The staff were lovely and always happy to help. We had such a relaxing stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend for families looking for a clean, friendly campsite.

Stayed over with our touring caravan for 2 nights this week and we have really enjoyed our stay. Its a new site so only us and the staff were very welcoming. We had the whole site to our selves it was bliss! Anglesey horse riding 5 mins away next to the beach. Our kids loved it, already booked to come again! Can't wait.

We found this campsite through a one of the person who lives there recommendation. We arrived without a prior reservation, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and had no problem having us. It is a huge camping field with several trees where you can find shade during hot days, as well as a small pond. The whole area is surrounded by sheep (love that!) and offers a beautiful view of the Welsh mountains. The bathrooms were very clean. 👍 The owners are extremely friendly and also had the sweetest dogs. ♥️ We would definitely recommend this place and will certainly come back again.
