About Cnwc Campsite

The Bodorgan Estate has watched over Anglesey's south-western coast since the 1300s, and Cnwc Campsite offers a taste of that legacy with a decidedly wild edge. Spread across 11 acres of grass pitching (no electric hook-ups), the site trades creature comforts for spectacular coastal views, direct access to sandy beaches and sunsets that justify the remoteness. Porth Trecastell lies about 10 minutes' walk away for wild swimming, kayaking and windsurfing, while Porth Nobla (half a mile) draws surfers and dog walkers year-round.

Despite the wild-camping spirit, there are proper showers, composting toilets, washing-up sinks and a barbecue station, plus recycling points to keep things low-impact. The Anglesey Coastal Path delivers epic hiking, Rhosneigr village (five minutes' drive) covers shopping and dining, and a golf course sits nearby. It can feel rugged underfoot – expect uneven ground – but campers praise the peace, space and that rare combo of seclusion with just enough infrastructure to keep things civilised.

We recently stayed here for 2 nights, nice pleasant owners, however, this is sadly lacking quality facilities. There are three toilets in a block that only have cold water to wash your hands and no towels or hand dryer. With a note to say use the towels in the kitchen area and not the toilet paper. The kitchen area is accessible by going outdoors (albeit only 15ft or so away) to find no hand towels at all in the time we stayed. The water pressure in toilet cubical one (on the left hand side as you face them) was almost non existent (advised owner). The showers were hot, but the most basic I’ve come across since camping, a concrete floor that doesn’t drain that well, in fact, the water is creeping up the shower door posts as the drainage in insufficient. The floor is also super cold being a concrete only base….so not a pleasant experience. I suggested to the owner they purchase some shower floor matts to stand on to dry. The response, was ‘okay we’ll look into that’ but in an uninterested way, although as I say very pleasant owners. The chemical disposal is small and no hose to clean the toilet cassette. The field we stayed in was not cut and didn’t look as though it had been cut in several weeks knowing roughly how often I have to cut the grass at home, thus meaning, not ideal to sit out on. I do appreciate a poor review is not good for a small business, but equally I would expect a better standard of facilities for the £40 a night. Positives, are a good location to explore Anglesey and the owners are really nice 😊 Sorry for the review, but I do sincerely hope this is taken as constructive feedback to improve for future guests.

Lovely time here camping for a week. Electric hook-up available. Wi-fi in the field, good showers and toilets. Fresh eggs too if you are lucky. So many beaches nearby that are all amazing. Plus the sea-zoo, castles and neolithic sites.

A fantastic campsite experience! My friends and I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. The campsite is beautifully located by the sea, offering plenty of space and stunning natural surroundings. The grassy areas are lush, with wildflowers adding a charming touch. The lavatories were impressively clean, and we noticed a cleaner maintaining the site on both days, which made a real difference. Everything felt well cared for and peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable and relaxing outdoor retreat. Many thanks!

A lovely well organised site in a good location to explore Anglesey. Wendy was a gem and a mine of useful information as well as making sure that the facilities were kept spotless. Untiringly friendly, she made our stay that bit more special. I thoroughly recommend this lovely site.
