About Cae Mawr Anglesey Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

For many visitors, a highlight of any trip to Anglesey is the chance to see the island's wildlife. And that can certainly be on the cards at Cae Mawr – this peaceful touring site in the island's north has red squirrel feeding stations to help you spot these rare native animals, along with regular woodpecker sightings. Pitches have been thoughtfully laid out across both grass and hardstanding to provide plenty of space and a sense of privacy, so you'll never feel crowded in.

Managed by the Caravan and Motorhome Club, the site is open to both members and non-members, with member discounts available. Set up with touring vehicles in mind, there's a chemical disposal point and motorhome service point, plus free wifi and barbecues are permitted. There are no guest toilets or showers, but you can pick up supplies at shops in Benllech, five minutes' drive away – the village also has restaurants, cafés and one of the best beaches on the island.

This location feels nicely peaceful, but good main road access means it's easy to explore all corners of Anglesey.

I stayed here recently in my motorhome and can't fault the site! Very friendly welcome.... quiet location and nice walks nearby! We need more of these types of sites! I don't need the facilities found at other sites.... I prefer to seek out less expensive sites! I'll be returning and highly recommend!

We were warmly greeted by Tricia and Neil; in fact the best welcome weve ever received on a CAMC site! 😃Lovely quiet site, where we watched lambs and red squirrels almost every day😍 Later in our visit we met main wardens Kim and Max, who were equally friendly, and suggested a couple of places to get nice gifts for our cat sitters🐈. Thank you for that! We are super sad to be leaving today and wish we could stay longer... Will definitely return despite our 7 hr journey- nx April, all being well!❣️❣️

I spent this campsite for 4 nights the horizon is beautiful, we had a nice pitch for the shade. We had BBQ for 3 days, we had cheeky fish and chips for last day night. The staff were friendly.
