Old Montrose - Grieve’s Cottage

Grieve's Cottage is a compact rural retreat on the grounds of Old Montrose House, a working estate bordering the Montrose Basin Nature Reserve. The cottage offers one bedroom and one bathroom, sleeping two people, with the whole place to yourself. The layout puts the living space downstairs in an open-plan arrangement, while the bedroom and en-suite are on the first floor.

Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. One dog stays free of charge. The estate's shared facilities include a walled garden, tennis court and putting green. From here you can walk or cycle into the surrounding countryside, and the nature reserve itself is on your doorstep for birdwatching and other wildlife spotting. The village of Montrose is a short drive away. No smoking inside the property.
