Couples and small groups will find The Courtyard Suite a comfortable base for exploring Angus. The property occupies a wing of a Grade A Listed house, arranged entirely on one floor with an open-plan living and kitchen area, two bedrooms (one double, one single), and a shower room. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with electric cooking and a dishwasher. Heating and hot water are provided, as are bed linen and towels.
The suite opens onto a walled garden and shares 5 acres of landscaped grounds with the main house and one other holiday property. The setting is working farmland where deer and Highland ponies graze; guests can walk the grounds to see them. A courtyard connects the buildings and provides a quiet spot to sit out. There is parking for two cars on site, bike storage, and kennels are available if you bring a dog. Access from the parking area involves ten steps.
Glamis Castle lies eight miles away. Dundee is twenty minutes' drive, and other castles and palaces in the region are within reasonable reach. Note that children under 12 are not accommodated, and the property is non-smoking throughout.
