Quality CSMC site, excellent location with adjacent park and Loch walk (about 3.5 miles). Very good pitches mostly hardstanding but with a few grass pitches. Serviced pitches available. Modern, clean and well maintained shower block with laundry and dishwashing area. Friendly, polite and professional wardens which made for a pleasant booking in process. This site well exceeded our expectations and if it were near home wound a regular site on our tours.

The worst welcomes I’ve ever received at a campsite. Before I’d even had the chance to check in, I was watched, approached and spoken to in a rude, confrontational and completely unnecessary manner by a member of staff in a high-vis jacket. His attitude was aggressive from the outset and left me feeling embarrassed and humiliated in front of other visitors. I had already paid for my stay online and was simply filling my motorhome with water before checking in, yet I was treated as though I’d done something wrong. There was absolutely no need for the way I was spoken to. The experience completely ruined the start of what should have been a relaxing break, and it was serious enough that I’ve submitted a formal complaint. No paying customer should ever be made to feel intimidated or spoken to with such a lack of respect. I was also a female travelling alone. The campsite itself may be lovely, but customer service like this lets it down badly. I certainly won’t be returning until staff are held accountable and visitors are treated with the courtesy and respect they deserve.

Lovely place to stay. Everything was nice and clean. On one hand, we wish would have been more secluded from town, on other hand, its nice to have shops only 2 minutes away. Good option to spend a few nights if you are visiting the breathtaking Glen Doll and Corie fee Nature reserve.

Spotless. Really nice staff. Toilets and showers closed 10.30am - noon is a big negative. £45 per night members price is excessive.
