The Garden Suite

The Garden Suite occupies a wing of a Grade A Listed house on a working deer farm. It's a single ground-floor bedroom with twin beds, a living and dining room, kitchen, and bathroom with bath and shower. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. There are 10 steps from the car parking to the entrance, and the property is not suitable for children under 18.

The suite shares a sunken courtyard and historic walled garden with two other properties on the 5-acre grounds. You can walk through the landscaped areas to see the resident deer and Highland ponies. Private parking for two cars is on site, and there's a bike store if you want to explore further. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so self-catering is straightforward.

Glamis Castle lies 8 miles away with its gardens and guided tours. Balmoral, Blair Athol and Scone Palace are within reach for days out. Dundee, 20 minutes away, has the V&A Design Museum, McManus Galleries, Discovery and the Unicorn. The Angus coastline is also accessible for those wanting sea air.
