Coorie Doon
Argyll and Bute

The Crinan Canal and surrounding woodlands are minutes away, as is the Argyll coast itself—ideal for anyone wanting to explore Scotland's western landscape without straying far. Cairnbaan sits in a region rich in castles, lochs and hill paths, and the canal itself draws walkers and those interested in maritime history. Coorie Doon, a newly renovated Victorian terrace cottage, sits right on the canal's banks, giving guests a direct connection to this peaceful waterway and the yachts that pass through it.
The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: a king-size bed in the master and a double upstairs, each with different outlooks—one over the canal, the other toward woodland and hills. Downstairs is a single open-plan space combining living, dining and kitchen areas, with views across the water from the main windows. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can cook properly; there's also a washing machine for longer stays. A shower room with cubicle serves the upstairs. Essentials like heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are covered. A front garden with seating overlooks the canal, and there is on-road parking. One dog is welcome; smoking is not.
