Gareside Lodge

Gareside Lodge is a two-bedroom cottage on the Argyll and Bute coast, sleeping four. The ground floor opens into a light living space with a wood burner, leading through to a kitchen with full cooking facilities and a utility room. There's a bathroom with both bath and shower, and a door out to the small walled garden with patio, furniture and barbecue. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with zip-and-link singles that convert to a super king on request. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; you'll find parking for two cars on site.

Gareloch is a few minutes' walk away, with a launching slip for kayaking, windsurfing and fishing. The wider area suits walkers and cyclists—Loch Lomond National Park and its golf course are 15 minutes away, Ben Lomond 40 minutes, and the Cobbler and local Munros within 20 minutes. Helensburgh is 10 minutes by car, Glasgow 45. A shop is 2 miles away. Pets are welcome. The cottage does not permit smoking.
