Cockle Cottage

Elmer sits on the West Sussex coast within reach of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that stretches several miles towards Littlehampton. The beaches here stay relatively quiet even at peak times, and low-tide rock formations create natural pools to explore. Swimming, fishing, windsurfing and long walks are all on the doorstep. Just inland, Arundel's castle and river are five miles north, while Chichester's cathedral and festival theatre lie a similar distance away.

Cockle Cottage is a detached bungalow three hundred metres from the beach, set back from the road down a private drive. Three bedrooms sleep six: one with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, one with two singles, and one with bunks. A second shower room serves the rest of the property. Downstairs, the living and dining room opens onto the kitchen through French doors; the kitchen has a full range of appliances for self-catering. An enclosed garden with patio and barbecue provides outdoor space, and there is parking for three cars on site. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. A shop, pub and restaurant are two hundred yards away. The property is non-smoking.
