The Tides - Lo-Tide

Lo-Tide is a architect-designed cottage painted blue, built as one of a pair just 200 yards from the beach in Elmer village. The interior opens onto a south-facing decked garden with furniture and a barbecue, while a private drive accommodates two cars. The whole property is yours alone, with three bedrooms spread across two floors: a double upstairs and two single rooms (one downstairs, one up), plus a shower room on the ground floor and a full bathroom above. Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with doors leading straight to the deck.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen and towels come as standard, along with wi-fi and heating. One dog is welcome. The village has a shop, pub and restaurant within walking distance, and the beaches here stay relatively quiet even in summer – good for swimming, windsurfing or simply walking the shoreline. Bognor Regis and Littlehampton lie nearby for further amenities, while the South Downs, Arundel, Chichester and Portsmouth are all within reasonable reach for day trips. Smoking is not permitted inside.
