Walnut Tree Cottage

Walnut Tree Cottage sits beside the church in Patching, a hamlet at the foot of the South Downs. The location puts you within easy walking distance of downland paths that lead across Long Furlong and towards Clapham, or westward through woodland to the villages of Wepham and Burpham—where The George and Dragon serves traditional pub food. The coast and Arundel are a short drive away, as is Chichester and Goodwood. The cottage suits walkers, families and anyone with one dog.

Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living space overlooks a patio and enclosed front garden. Bedroom one has a kingsize bed with an ensuite shower; bedroom two has two single beds and shares a bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer are all here. Freeview TV, books and DVDs are in the living area. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. There is parking on site and a cot and highchair available if needed. No smoking inside.
