What visitors say
Staying in your camper van near Melton? This is your best shot! A fantastic site with 42 hard standing serviced pitches. Smart Metered electric with a refund facility. The site is barrier protected with APNR access, and is so well manicured, with decorative lights around the wildlife pond too. Very smart indeed. The best shower/loo block in Leicestershire, with underfloor heating. John and Katie are superb hosts and are super friendly. We'll definitely be returning.

Nice site, the entrance is not clear, the road in and out is not dual carriageway, I spotted 2 cars leaving the garden centre, I could see there was no room for a motorhome and assumed that was the exit. I went past that turning and ended up at a car park, had to turn around, then there was a stream of cars coming out of the same road, so then I started to turn in the road next to the one with the cars leaving only to find that it's private. I had to reverse out again, only to scrape my motorhome on rocks that are to stop people driving on the grass. It's an A class motorhome so there was no way of seeing these rocks. They need a big arrow adding to the large sign so that is obvious where the site is. If there were no cars leaving when I arrived I would have gone the correct way. The fact that it is single track and had several cars leaving was confusing. Other than that it's a spot on site, well kept and very clean. Helpful staff in reception. The restaurant is also really good. In response to the owners reply, the directions in the email say nothing about the single track road. It just needs a nice white arrow to give confidence to motorhomes and caravans that's it's definitely up that road, so when you see a stream of cars leaving and you can't pass, that it's still the road to take. The last thing any of us with big units want is to take the wrong turn and end up in trouble. its just constructive feedback.

This adults-only site is truly exceptional – spotlessly clean everywhere you look, from the facilities to the grounds. Every member of staff is warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making the whole stay feel relaxed and special. A perfect, peaceful spot we’d happily return to again and again.

This was our second visit to this gem of a site . The sight is spotless well maintained and a wildlife haven . Showers and toilets are the best I have ever seen an warm, welcoming and clean. There is a lovely site shop with essential items local craft beers and ciders. Spacious gravel pitches with metered electric which I must add is very reasonable all pitches have water waste and electricity. Well lit at night to the toilets without disturbing others Outstanding. Can't wait for next Visit.
