Had a good time here today! Being in Ashby from Derby for the first time due to a lack of outdoor swimming pools in the area, and the ridiculous time restriction at Moorways. It's definitely worth the time to swim here in one of two lidos in Derbyshire and Leicestershire. 600 people were here today are not an easy job for the staff here. You guys did a wonderful job today and deserved recognition. I'll definitely be coming back for the pool again numerous times between June and August.

The outdoor 30m lido at Ashby Leisure Centre is absolutely fantastic—perfect for an open-air swim. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that the upstairs gym feels a bit dated and could use a small bit of modernising.

I use this leisure centre most days, and while the building is less flashy than its sister centre at Coalville, I cannot praise the staff enough. I have been on a long and hard journey to fitness, and i have needed the support and help of the staff and instructors who I have met along the way. My PT Ollie has been a fabulous inspiration, and has monitored my health and progess at every step of the way. He is so dedicated and constantly check that everyone in the gym is staying safe, and he doesnt hesitate to step in and step up to give advice and guidance. As a mature person, i really have appreciated his concern for my health, making sure I exercise without damage and also his constant encouragement to acheive. The reception staff are also so professional and friendly and make every effort to put you at ease. Freda seems to know every client and greets everyone with such warmth, as someone who was new and very nervous I couldnt have wished for a more friendly and enabling introduction. So give Ashby Leisure a try if you are trying to make a change.

A great place for a family getaway. We really enjoyed our stay. The heated pool was a big plus, especially in the cooler weather.
