What visitors say
After returning from our 3 day stay I felt I had to give a review, not the friendliest of places to be the owner doesn't engage at all. On our 2nd morning our little very friendly dog went for a mooch, unfortunately he did his business outside a ladies caravan. She was obviously one of the permanent residents that belong to this community there. She advised us that dogs should be on leeds whilst on the site and that he had left his business outside her van. We apologized and went on our way NOW we were quite puzzled as to why she turned a blind eye to a big Labrador that walks the site all the time off leed. Clearly the lady has some authority being a permanent resident, but still non the less double standards. We were pitched between her and another permanent resident a true gentleman who chatted and was more than pleasant. As for the site well if your face fits your ok, first stay we did this year pitch 23 lovely view of the ponds, on arrival this time we asked the owners daughter if we could have that pitch again, no she said it's booked until the following Monday ( although they disappeared after 1 night ) Seriously folks there are better places than this it is our last visit, what with the close knit community and arrogance it's not the place to stay. It's getting very run down the toilets and shower facilities are grim. Positive note very scenic some of the residential community very pleasant others as I've mentioned not nice. After reading the reply from the site, totally missing the point being made. They dressed it up as me being funny over not getting a pitch I wanted. Totally wrong sometimes people should be silent and give the impression of being thick, instead of Opening their mouths and confirming they are.

Phenomenal fishing venue and perfect break away for a bit of father and son fishing. Best annual fishing break we've had for years. Robins nest brilliant. The odd plane flying over from East Midlands take off was amazing. Thank you Ian (the owner). P.s no ai was used on the photos. These are standard samsung phone pictures... The water was that amazing!
