About Champneys Springs
Gallows Lane runs out into open Leicestershire countryside on the edge of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and it's here that Champneys Springs makes its home, well away from town traffic but close enough for an easy visit in. The setting is quiet and green, giving the hotel a genuine sense of retreat without cutting guests off from local attractions nearby.
There are 89 rooms across the hotel, with a lift making all floors easy to reach and porter services on hand to help with luggage. Facilities are built around relaxation and activity in equal measure: an indoor swimming pool, a gym, and a spa with sauna sit alongside a restaurant and daily breakfast, while free WiFi covers the building throughout.
Outside, a garden gives guests somewhere to sit away from the rooms, and free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward. It's a practical base for exploring the surrounding countryside as well as Ashby-de-la-Zouch itself, with the spa facilities offering plenty of reason to stay put for a day too.
