What visitors say
A lovely pub in a beautiful, quiet village. The staff were very friendly, the service was excellent and most importantly the food was absolutely fantastic; I heartily recommend the homemade steak and ale pie! This is also a great meal destination if you have young kids - there’s a kids’ menu for 5-12s but under 5s eat free from that menu and get a slightly smaller portion. Having been to so many pubs where I’ve ended up paying for a kids’ meal that’s 2-3 times the size of what my youngest would ever manage to eat, this approach was refreshing, saving us a few quid and reducing food wastage too! The garden area is nice and has some great play equipment for kids. We stopped here on our way home from Drayton Manor, but if we were local, we’d be visiting The Globe regularly! We’ll certainly stop by again next time we’re in the area!

We had an excellent meal tonight at the globe. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was very well priced and really nice. We thoroughly recommend a visit.

Really welcoming although we just arrived looking for food. Two meals arrived in reasonable time although a smaller portion would have been appreciated for me. We will be back.

New management recently taken over. Nicely decorated good range of beer.. Friendly staff and regulars... Food service should resume in the next 2 weeks .... May 26... So cannot comment on the food today ..
