Bridge House

Bridge House is a detached cottage set within an acre of private landscaped gardens in the National Forest near Ashby-de-la-Zouch. You arrive into a ground floor with living room, dining room and conservatory, a well-equipped kitchen, and a shower room. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a four-poster double, a standard double and a single—plus a bathroom with bath and shower. The property sleeps five.

A hot tub for four sits in the garden, alongside patio seating and furniture. The grounds are private and there is on-site parking for two cars. Essentials like electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; heating is oil central. One dog can stay free. No smoking is permitted inside, and there is a step in the garden.

The National Forest offers woodland walks and cycle trails nearby. Ashby-de-la-Zouch Castle is close by, as are Calke Abbey and Melbourne Hall. The Bull & Lion pub is in the village. This is a holiday cottage only, suited to people looking for a countryside base rather than permanent residents.
