We had a great day here, lots to see. The old buildings with insights from the past, displays and information from a time gone by. We were given a gift of a cream tea on the train by our son and daughter in law, it was fantastic, very good quality scones, cream, jam and as much tea or coffee as you wanted! We were able to ride as many times as you wanted too. We saw the signal house with an interesting talk by the operator, the miniature railway, engins sheds etc. All staff were very helpful, and you could see that they were proud to be a part of East Devon railway. One of the friendly staff said to my wife "you still here" we had been there all day! A really lovely day out, thank you.

I was bought a trip on the train for my birthday. I grew up with my Grandfather taking me on steam trains and to steam rallys so the day came with a lot of memories. From the cafe to the volunteers in period dress the whole morning was fantastic. I loved the tickets and remembering travelling to school on the train in London in the early 90's in similar carriages. Had a great time and we'd come back again in the future.

A beautiful step back in time, great gift and snack shop. And a lovely classic steam train ride and old fashioned carriages. About a 35 minute round trip steam train experience. There sre some great local pubs and a fantastic opportunity to have a nice family day out. Five stars

We had the best time. When we get on our pre ordered drinks are set on the table, not long after we had our starter, Main and dessert to follow. The staff are amazing and well organised. Very friendly and welcoming. It was the best experience and highly recommend it to anyone.
