The Calf Pens occupies the grounds of Moat Hall, a 300-acre estate in Suffolk where walking trails, landscaped lakes and managed woodland are on your doorstep. Dedham Vale Nature Reserve lies within reach, and the village of Layham—with its pubs and quiet character—is a short walk away. This is countryside that rewards exploration, whether on foot or simply by pausing at the boating lake that guests can use.
The property is a converted farm building arranged entirely on ground level, with a sitting room centred around a woodburner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and two ensuite bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and one with a pair of single beds. A utility room houses the washing machine and dryer. The south-west facing garden opens onto a terrace with seating, and mowed paths lead through the grounds. Electricity, heating, wifi, bed linen, towels and logs are included.
It sleeps four and is yours alone. There are two steps in the garden, and a lake within the grounds. No smoking inside.
