Great place to camp if you like being near the water. Camp site is nice amenities are basic but do the job. Get there early if you want to camp by the river only a few stops. I would definitely recommend purchasing/hiring a camp fire. A guy will bring one to you once youve set up. I loved being able to just to grab my paddleboard and jump straight in the water. Location 10/10🛶🛶🛶 Side note. You turn up and just park where ever you can find a space which seemed a little hectic when we first got there but you've just gotta go with the flow.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous weekend stay, What a fantastic campsite and location we had one of the Bell tents that was located directly on the river and was so clean on arrival the mattress was extremely comfy! We also hired a canoe and a paddleboard, so glad we did what a great experience. Toilets were always clean and had lots of loo roll. Really relaxing and we will definitely be back!

A really good find, the site is easy to find and well sign posted as you get closer. The various fields/sites make you feel that you are in a smaller location than you are, The site was well spaced out and the facilities are close, clean and there are plenty, there are small Q's for the showers at busier times but this is not an issue. Showers are clean, warm/hot and with plenty of power. There are plenty of spaces for Children and Adults to runs around. the Canoe hire is a bonus and reasonably priced. They do also have visits from Food and Beverage vans which are REALLY Good. I will be returning and hiring a canoe for a whole day next time. The owners and Staff are always on hand and regularly on site.

Well what can I say…. First ever time time camping and myself and my 9 year old had an amazing 4 nights. Pitched up next to the river stour, it was so peaceful. Definitely is off grid, no electric on site. Could do with a little shop on site for essentials but honestly can’t recommend highly enough. We will definitely return ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
