About The Nines
The Nines occupies a landmark position on Seacliff Road, directly above Bangor Marina and a short stroll from Pickie Funpark and the town centre. The building has been fully refurbished into a modern, boutique-style hotel, with a ground floor given over to a bar area serving signature cocktails and an adjoining restaurant.
Bedrooms are contemporary in style, and the hotel's position means many rooms and the terrace look directly over the water. Note that the building has stairs only, with no lift to the upper floors.
Its seafront location makes it a good base for couples and short breaks who want to walk straight out to the harbour restaurants and the promenade, with Bangor's railway station and the wider North Down coast within easy reach on foot.

We were over in Bangor for the weekend visiting family and booked a table for 10 to celebrate a birthday. From start to finish, everything was excellent. The food arrived at the perfect temperature, the portions were generous, and everything was full of flavour. The staff were welcoming, friendly and looked after us really well, especially considering the size of our group. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere too. A fantastic experience all round, and we’d definitely recommend The Nines to anyone looking for a great meal. We’ll certainly be back next time we’re in the area!

Great food - top quality and a have a well priced Mon-Wed deal. Lovely cocktails, service generally prompt although could be slightly friendler. Lovely views and interior. Have happily returned a number of times now with the same experience!

Spent my 60th birthday at the Nines Fri 1st May 2026 listening to the amazing Natalie Youle singing her wee heart out x Stephen the manager was wonderful couldn't do enough for us xx definitely be back ❤️ thanks again guys. p.s. the room was excellent best views over the Marina. It was just lovely waking up to that view xx

Booked an overnight stay to attend a friend’s 50th birthday close by. Had dinner and breakfast both meals tasty and great service. Room was lovely with gorgeous views over harbour. Handy 10 minutes walk to the party and back and enjoyed a Sunday morning stroll around the marina.
