Rustic old building, spacious rooms, shared bathroom and a shower room did not pose a problem. Mel and Stuart where great hosts and made us very comfortable in their home, we will visit again 👍🏼

Loved our stay so much! A beautiful historic house located in gorgeous surroundings. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay in Room 2. Very spacious with window looking out over front of property. It is an old building so there are creaky stairs and a few cracks here and there but it is a fabulous place to stay. There are two shared bathrooms which were always clean. Very quiet at night. Owners are lovely and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant few days spent at Roosecote Guest House. Mel and Stuart were great hosts and welcomed us before getting out of the car. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Mel’s breakfasts are amazing and the scrambled eggs went down a treat with our lot. Thank you for an amazing few days with you. Look forward to our next stay with you. Angela & family

What a wonderful place this is to stay if you are visiting the area. Only 5 minutes outside Barrow but it feels like the middle of the countryside. Fantastic setting, lovely breakfast and charming hosts. The room is a great size too and spotlessly clean. We still have two nights left but I can't recommend this place enough. A guest house with character and warmth all rolled into one.
