What visitors say
Loved the little pod, it was perfect. Had it's own ensuite and the water was warm. Only thing I would say is I asked for the pod to be decorated before our arrival with obviously additional costs but it wasn't done on our arrival, that didn't stop it from being perfect, however would've been a nice touch. Was an hours drive from Lake District so it was a nice getaway at a good price.

My partner and I stayed in one of the pods with our 4 year old grandson, we arrived late in the evening to find the sofa bed all ready for him to climb into, he was delighted and described it as very cosy 🥰. We had an excellent stay and the pod and grounds excelled our expectations. We will be back again.

We stayed here from a very rainy Wednesday to Friday. The rain sounded so relaxing on the outside of the pod and it was immediately calming. Check in was so smooth and easy, we just got a message explaining everything and we could get settled so quick, Gavin was super helpful. The pod was very clean and had everything we could need. We took our large breed dog (Rottweiler X St Bernard) and we were comfortable with enough space for him and us 2 adults. We will definitely stay again.

I had a fabulous time staying in the yurt for 4 days. I was sent clear instructions to check in. I loved the outdoor shower, but if it's not for you, you can use a bathroom inside the main building, but I do recommend using the outdoor shower it was lovely and warm and seeing the stars whilst showering is part of the experience. The bed was comfy as well as the big sofa. I used the fire pit one of the nights, you are given some wood but you will need more if you are staying out with it on for a while. It had everything needed for my stay, mugs, wine glasses pots pans. Ect The beach is only a short walk away and is clean and dog friendly. The nearest pub takes about 15min to walk to with a nice beer garden and good food. I was lucky to have the weather on my side so took advantage of the yurt and having a morning coffee and breakfast outside on the bench. The battery packs for charging phones are great and you can swap them at the little hut station on site once you run out of battery. The freezer has extra ice packs you can borrow so I managed to keep all my food cold for the few days. The site is within a housing estate but once you are in the camp area you wouldn't even realise. (Don't let this put you off) I will definitely be back and booking into the amazing yurt again.
