About Wylands Farm
With eight specialist lakes spread across 154 acres of High Weald woodland, Wylands Farm has earned its reputation as one of the region's top angling centres. The lakes cater for specialist, match and pleasure anglers (there's even a dedicated catfish lake), while the on-site tackle shop and café keep everyone equipped and well-fed. Campers praise not just the excellent fishing but also the network of walking trails threading through the grounds, the delicious coffee and food at the café, and the genuinely helpful, friendly staff who know their stuff.
Historic Battle sits five minutes away – perfect for soaking up 1066 history – while the south coast beaches at Bexhill-on-Sea are around 20 minutes' drive. It's an ideal setup for mixed groups: some can spend the day by the water while others explore Hastings or the surrounding High Weald National Landscape. Pitches are available with or without electric hook-up, prices are reasonable, and there's a proper pub a mile down the road for celebrating a good catch. Note that fishing permits must be booked separately from your pitch fee.

Beautiful, chilled campsite. Lovely cafe on site extremely modern and has WiFi. Lovely coffee served. Tackle shop on site with lots of fishing essentials. Pounds look beautiful I'm afraid I don't fish so couldn't say anymore than that. Wash facilities are basis, shower cubicles are really small but clean, good water temperature and pressure. Had a really lovely stay.

great place with really helpful bailiffs. new bailiff Logan was very knowledgeable, guiding me with finding the right areas to fish on a lake that has been naturally fishing hard due to the weather/time of year and i landed an 18lb mirror in the night 👍🏼

Nice campsite with a restaurant open until 4:30 PM. It is possible to buy a day fishing permit for £17. Camping pitch prices are not too expensive.

Very busy at the campsite over the bank holiday weekend, their full capacity seems to be too high for the facilities, despite best efforts of the staff the loos and showers were pretty dirty. We managed to camp in the quieter field which we appreciated, but this meant we were near the water treatment so we got frequent wafts of poo smell. I think on a less busy weekend it would be better. Cafe was very nice though and overlooked the lake, and the kids had fun visiting Bodiam castle nearby.
