About Plas yn Llangoed

Tucked into the grounds of a family home just outside Beaumaris, Plas yn Llangoed delivers stunning Menai Strait and Snowdonia views from its small, thoughtfully run campfield. Owners Emily, Trig, Dan and Lizzie have created a genuinely eco-minded setup—wood stacks left as bug hotels, hedgerows replanted for wildlife, and complimentary sustainably sourced tea and coffee in the campers' shack, which also offers gas hobs, a fridge and USB charging. Morning pastries can be ordered from the on-site shop-cum-café, while hot showers and eco-friendly washing-up products keep facilities spotless.

It's a peaceful, family-friendly base for exploring Anglesey's beaches, coastal paths and historic sites, with buzzards, woodpeckers and owls often spotted overhead. The only drawback? No dogs are permitted, so four-legged companions will need to sit this one out. Otherwise, whether you're content to soak up those mountain panoramas or eager to kayak, cycle and sail nearby, this is relaxed, low-impact camping done right.

This is a great campsite and Emily has put a great deal of effort into making it welcoming and practical for is guests. From cooking facilities and barbecues to plentiful charging points and fridges. Great eco credentials with clean, eco friendly and functional toilets and showers. The views are also amazing and it located well for walks to the coast, lighthouse and Beaumaris.

The location is super quiet, and A beautiful rural location. Emily, the host, we met was super friendly and gave us a personal tour of the whole camp site including the recently opened Guesthouse she has been passionately renovating. The facilities are among the best I have seen, and all put together with sustainability and an eye on the environment. We came when the season was coming to and end, but was welcomed to the site. The grounds of this place look like they will evolve with every passing year, we can’t wait to come back again and see what’s been built next. It seems like Emily will have a go and build anything the guests need, and she has gone above and beyond to make sure we don’t want for anything. Scroll down and read Wayne’s review, he goes into more detail. Only thing I can add is that there is a Herb garden you can help yourself to, and even some courgettes which Emily insisted we try (large yellow round ones!). We will be back to see what DIY project she comes up with next year. Superhost rating 10 👍🏻

We had the absolute pleasure of being the very first guests to stay at this beautiful AirBnB (indoor apartment) in North Wales, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The property itself is stunning – everything is brand new with gorgeous decor, and the entire place feels spacious, fresh, and homely. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, fully equipped for cooking proper meals, and the open plan layout was perfect for spending time together. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable with thoughtful touches, and the bathrooms were spotless and modern. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful, creating such a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. There was also a great TV setup for cosy evenings in. Our host, Emily, was absolutely amazing – such a lovely, welcoming lady. We really enjoyed chatting with her and learning about the local area. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to ensure our stay was perfect. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this AirBnB to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and memorable stay in North Wales. We will definitely be returning! (Ps sorry for the late review, better late than never! Ha!)

Wow! What an amazing place! - where do I start singing this sites praises. First of all Emily, the site owner wants to move heaven and earth for you to provide you everything you need for an amazing stressfree stay.. everything is provided and everything is eco friendly. The toilets are clean and well stocked, the showers are spacious and super warm with all the body cleaning products you could ask for, the sinks are the same, there is a shared fire pit (with free wood to burn) promoting a community feel around the campsite as people seem to get together around the shared areas including the shared sheltered cooking/ chilling/ eating area. The site is beautifully rustic and super quiet with amazing views of the seas and fields - there is an on site cafe and gift shop that make freshly baked croissants and other bakery items - what are more than welcome when you just wake up and can’t be bothered getting the stove out! After reading some other reviews I did notice that people were complaining about the price, £30/£35 is now standard in wales if not more - as we have just come back from a full trip of the north of wales and this was very much common even tho if it is not in England or Scotland (this may be something people want to look into before booking if use to England and Scotland prices) that been said I do believe with a little price drop this site would be fully booked all the time and would be hard to even get a spot because it is really that good! They have done a fantastic job with making one of the most welcoming and peaceful campsites I’ve been too And just for point of reference - their were two young backpackers who were struggling with their tent in the wind (tent wasn’t made for such wind) when I woke the following morning I was happy to see their tent was still up while on the way to the cafe. I then told Emily about them and the first thing she said without no care for anything but the boys was “oh no, did they get into one of the belt tents then” - there were no care for anything but the safety and wellbeing of her guests even if that ment they took shelter in one of her premium bell tents without paying - I was floored. I have never come across a site owner who cared more for their guests or as much as Emily seem to do in that moment. I told my partner and she was as shocked as I as we have never seen this and just came from a campsite who had zero regard for any of theirs. So if, the price is bothering you, and it is a little bit too much (I’ll admit for a long stay it could be) just remember what you are getting for that price because I have never been accommodated for so well, in such short notice, in a long long time - tell them Wayne sent you! Things that stood out to us - - there are toilets with children’s toilet seats integrated. - there are sinks on back of every toilet so you don’t need to leave the cubicle. - sinks for brushing you teeth and washing up are all over the communal area for ease of use. - the communal fire pit is in a wind breaker area = zero wind - there is a communal grass picnic area that’s kept well maintained - the communal shelter is big meaning all the guests could relax there if needed instead of there tents - they have wheelbarrows so that you can take things from your car to your tent much easier as no cars allowed on the field - the grass is kept in such a way on the pitches that it gives all camps there little bit of privacy (what’s lovely) - free wood/and shower products for all guests - free showers - communal bbqs and stove for all to use -communal fridges and freezers free to use - free plug sockets with usb - emily and her hospitality I’ve probably missed loads but you get the picture. Thank you for saving our trip to wales Emily, you honestly don’t know what it means to us! (Even tho the weather was wild! :) ) Will be back very soon - Wayne & Sara.
