If I lived closer, this would be my local! The owners are incredibly friendly, as are the patreons. It is great to see a pub with atmosphere! Full of laughter and people having a good time. The food, was fantastic, I had the chicken burger which was delicious and full of flavour and those chips... I'd happily eat a whole bowl and then some of those! Cherrybake well cheesecake was my pudding choice and again, what a delight it was! Light, sweet and a huge portion. Needless to say, I left feeling very full and happy! And will be back.

Happened upon this pub as we’d been caught in traffic & needed somewhere to eat. It’s a great locals pub but also very friendly to others as we discovered. The landlord & landlady were very welcoming. Food was excellent & generous. Good selection of beers. Recommended

Just finished an exceptional meal at the Rose and Crown in Ridgmont. I had the steak, which was cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and accomadating. Rachel greeted us and her service was excellent. Highly recommended, if you are in the area.

It was my first time out for a meal since I’ve had my first baby and it was such a lovely experience. Everyone was so nice, especially a lady who I think was called Jacky. She made me feel really comfortable and I had an amazing time.
