Zip World Penrhyn Quarry

Wow! I would really recommend booking a slot in advance. We had to wait over 2 hours, which was fine, but then the experience it's self is alot of waiting. We need to return again, & will book in advance next time. Plenty of parking, seating areas, dogs allowed. We ate in the restaurant, decent food! Was piping hot, good value for money. For the cost of the Velocity, it would be amazing if a medal was at least included. Its £99 for the zipline. This is mini zipline, ride up, & the main attraction zipline. A medal in the shop is £6.50.. I think that would being included & presented at the end would just be 🤌🏼 The go pro footage to purchase is £20. Is that steep for a 50second video?🤔 Was great too be able to sit in the restaurant & watch it on the big screen, but need more screens to view... a continuous stream, oppose too ads of the zipworld, or put them continuous on a different screen.

Absolute fantastic day here doing the Zipline. Staff are all great and very hard working. Place is spotlessly clean. Food is great and good value for money. Would come again and already recommended lots of family and friends 10/10 thanks guys 👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻😁😁😁

The 100mph Zip Velocity experience was everything I wanted it to be! All the staff were very friendly, helpful and supportive throughout. The emphasis was very much on health and safety but with fun and enjoyment at its core. The practice run was important to give us a taste of what to expect, then the 15minute wagon ride up to the start. I didn’t have too long to wait for my turn and was soon getting clipped into the equipment, all the while being reassured and encouraged. The release was quick and I was soon zipping down the mountain! Wonderful experience. The braking system is a bit of a jolt but I was soon back on the ground and released from the line. I admit I was a bit shakey and breathless (well I am 72!) and the young man helping me held onto me until I had recovered. The helmet cam is brilliant and definitely worth having it for the memory!! Be brave, do it at least once!! You won’t regret it ☺️

I booked velocity for my 12 year olds birthday. Easy to book, well signposted when we arrived and all the staff were very helpful. Velocity, while on the pricier side, was brilliant. Both my son and husband enjoyed it and my son wanted to go again! We booked on site for the aero-explorer for my 7 year old. Booking was easy and quick ans we knky has a half hour wait. Unfortunately he got to the top and was too scared to carry on, the staff were brilliant, reassuring him and getting him down. We were able to swap so the birthday boy got to go instead! The activities were well thought out, place was clean and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The only downside really was the price at the bar. 2 glasses of diet coke cost me £10 which, even for places like this, is absolutely extortionate. Food looks nice but again, far too expensive for us, lots of people were having food however and it did look nice. There was a long wait at the bar too, id say an extra till and staff were needed! Overall a great day, activities were brilliant and id absolutely come back!
