What visitors say
Been coming to this campsite for many years now because of the events held in Bishops Castle. Even when the site is fully booked it never gets crowded, the toilets and showers are clean and they have a room where you can freeze your ice packs charge your phone and a sofa to chill on. The campsite has lots of fields to pitch your tent in but we use the top field because of the amazing views of the surrounding landscape. On a clear night the night sky and stars are breathtaking and the 12 min walk into town through fields and wood is perfect.

We had a really lovely stay at the Foxholes Campsite and would happily return. The caravan pitch was excellent, with a good choice of fields so you can pick a spot that suits you. The views are beautiful and really add to the overall peaceful, laid back atmosphere of the site. Facilities were great - clean toilets and a well maintained shower block, which always makes a big difference. The location is ideal too, with an easy walk into Bishop’s Castle, making it convenient while still feeling tucked away in the countryside. A particularly nice touch was the little hut selling fresh eggs. Overall, a relaxing and well-kept campsite with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
