About Bow House Country Park
Bow House Country Park is a lodging site on the A489 between Bishops Castle and the surrounding Shropshire hills. The site has showers, disabled access throughout, wireless internet, and designated parking. Children have a play area on site, and the park welcomes up to two pets per booking.
An equestrian centre is just a few minutes' walk away, making this a useful base if you're planning to ride. Bishops Castle itself is the nearest town, a short drive south, with a high street, local pubs and the kind of independent shops typical of a market town. The wider area offers walking and cycling through countryside that rolls between Wales and the English Midlands, with numerous footpaths and country lanes crossing the hills and valleys around Clun and Knighton.

What visitors say
This place is lovely, seriously lovely. It's quiet, no stress, nature everywhere. It's caravans to the right of the entrance and lodges to the left. The lodges are private, as are the caravans. The site is secured by key fob gates and plenty of CCTV about. There are permanent staff on site who are awesome. The park is on the edge or a beautiful small lake, making it inviting for fisherman, wildlife and general 'walking past and aggressively relaxing at' type of place.

Lovely. Lovely caravan country park. Relaxing and quiet. Love it!

Excellent for fishing, lake needs a lot more care taking of it including building actual pegs, water being airated and also being re-stocked. It hasn't been restocked in the 12 years we've been there, some otter defense must also be put up... The park as a whole went downhill when they allowed caravans on the front row by the lake which has always been caravan free and all rules have been set free (assuming you pay £££££) and now deckings on the front of caravans are suddenly allowed, again assumign you have £££££

This caravan park is lovely. The reason i have put 4 stars is that there is not much for kids. There is a small park and a beautiful walk round the lake. Wonderful sunset at the lake. The park is surrounded by gorgeous views of the hills. There are several camping sites nearby. The park is very peacful and the owners are lovely. I would recommend buying a caravan here but possibly not if you have several children
