About Ardern Hotel

Coronation Street sits within easy reach of Blackpool's main seafront attractions, and the Ardern Hotel makes the most of that position for anyone visiting the Tower or Pleasure Beach. It's a straightforward, practical base rather than a destination in itself, with parking available for those arriving by car.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi and drinks available in room, covering the basics without much extra polish. The setting keeps you close to pubs, bars, restaurants and other eateries nearby, so there's no shortage of places to eat within walking distance, and entertainment venues are also close by.

For those wanting to get outdoors, golf and fishing are both available nearby, along with general walking areas around the town. It suits guests who want a functional stopping point near Blackpool's key sights rather than a hotel experience built around the building itself.

Had booked a week's stay here through booking dot com a few days before arrival, on the day of arrival the owner messaged me to ask what time I would be checking in, not long after replying she then messaged to say she was unable to accommodate me and would offer an alternative a short walk away which turned out to be a right dump , I stayed one night and found another place next day , told booking dot com they need to vett these cowboys before allowing them to advertise on their website

Posting on behalf of the parents. Only positive thing to say was the location was excellent. Unfortunately everything else was terrible. The room was dirty, holes in the ceiling, holes in the doors, really dusty, marked towels and bedding, hot tap in the sink not working in 2 of the rooms, carpets ripped with stains. Parts of the building smelt. As you can see from the pictures. Would definately not recommend.

Booked this hotel for a service user with MH problems and learning dificulties. Ariived at hotel which said 24 hour front deck and was locked up. Tried to ring and phonelines dead. Three times returned and still locked up with no sign of life. Had to take to another hotel and book in as service user getting distressed.

Lovely little place within a stone's throw from the tower and winter gardens. Had one of the smaller rooms but was adequate for our needs, was furnished nicely and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and owner and staff were very friendly and hospitable. Great value for money. Would definitely use again.
