About Boulevard Hotel
Ocean Boulevard runs close to the Blackpool seafront, with the promenade and Pleasure Beach within easy reach, and the Boulevard Hotel sits right along it. The 120 rooms are modern and well kept, with comfortable beds and plenty of space, and many look out over the surrounding area, making them a practical choice for families wanting room to spread out.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, along with family layouts and accessible options where needed. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site, plus room service and drinks available in-room, and there's a gym for guests who want to keep up a routine while away. Those planning events can make use of the meeting rooms or the wedding venue and bridal suite, and a lift serves all floors.
Staff are generally friendly and professional, though service can be slow at busier times. Beyond the hotel, the local area offers watersports, fishing, and a choice of pubs and restaurants nearby, alongside the entertainment that draws people to this stretch of Blackpool in the first place.
What guests say
Now the hotel is top flight and the staff are excellent, the welcome was warm, and the room was spacious, comfy, clean and well spec'd out. The bed one of the best we have ever slept on. Price?? So via booking.com we paid £180 for a deluxe king room. Adults only floor. £180.00 for the night. On top of that breakfast was a further £38 for the two of us and parking is £25 per night! Sorry but at £180 per night, I would have expected the breakfast to be included and £25 parking for a night? I feel the hotel is believing its own marketing team! I have been happy paying £200 per night with parking and breakfast included, but as much as a lovely hotel as it is, at that price point, and the need to pay so much for breakfast and parking. Furthermore, I'd not likely return in a hurry, which is a shame.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a layout that worked especially well for families. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around and enjoy the surrounding area. The facilities and overall atmosphere of the hotel exceeded our expectations. The only minor downside was the dinner service at the restaurant, where the waiting time was a little longer than expected. However, this did not significantly affect our overall experience. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to others. The excellent rooms, convenient location, and family-friendly environment made it a great choice.

The reception staff were rude and very unhelpful. It started with check in I had contactless, he advised card only and snapped its in our Ts and Cs ( who reads terms and conditions for hotel stays) when I have no other means of payment he allowed me to pay contactless but abruptly advised your pay as you go only. We had paid for Ripley and golf tickets Gabriele had given us one ticket, Ripley advised us it was for both and called the hotel to notify them. So we walked back up to collect the rest, he then kept us another 15 minutes calling around and being defensive and then gave us the tickets eventually. The toilet broke in the middle of the night when I notified them in the morning they advised it was because I had an accessible room takes longer to flush which was a lie again defensive no apology. What topped it off was due to having a bad stomach I opted for cereal checked with restraunt staff I wouldn't be charged £20, they were lovely tbh and said £8.50 supplement. Low and behold we get to reception to pay and they were arguing we need to pay £35, no apology arguing asking me what I'd eaten. All three reception staff were miserable. Unhelpful and rude. Which is a shame because the room was lovely, however based on service purely this is more like a 3* hotel very dissapoonting. Paid £15 for parking we were advised if car isn't moved on check out we will be given a ticket. Beautiful hotel however I wouldn't give them a penny of my money ever again. They also earmarked £295 aswell as deducting an additional £205, so have taken an unauthorised 205 out of my account

The hotel is beautifully designed, spotless throughout and in a perfect location with stunning sea views. The staff were exceptional, friendly, professional and always happy to help, making the whole stay feel effortless and special. The room was spacious, comfortable and finished to a very high standard, with everything needed for a relaxing break. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and great quality food. Overall, a brilliant experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning in the future.
