Do not stop here if you like sleeping on stained mattresses, clean sheets put over blood covered ones. Front door and inner door locks broken, anyone could if walked in off the street. Phoned customer services as there is no one on site, was told they would be out in 20 minutes, no one turned up. Rooms were dirty, my room had no head board, wallpaper torn off the wall. After many phones calls on which there was no action taken we had to book another hotel, no way we're we sleeping in them dirty two rooms and no security on the front door. Still trying to get a full refund off them

Well. You get what you paid for. No reception. The front door feels as if I'm breaking into the building every time I enter. The house has a horrible smell. The shower has barely any water pressure. The bed is lumpy and old. I wouldn't have paid to stay here. I'd recommend you don't.

[Edit:20.07.23] After Google rejecting 3 edits for this place when i tried placing at 20 Vance rd and telling everyone about it on Twitter i am glad that they have now corrected the problem. It's a shame that the reviews have just been moven from the other location of the other hotel on south beach that had a different name. This though, 20 Vance Road, is the correct tag and location for the OYO Chesterton Hotel. Hope you enjoy your stay. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beware as Google maps gives the wrong location. also there is a bad phone reception for contacting owners to get security code to gain access to your key to get inside. Once inside there are no lifts so if you are in anyway disabled you have at least four flights of stairs to walk up if you are unlucky enough to be on the top floor. The rooms are basic but clean with a tea/coffee maker...TV, and shower. No Aircon or fan for the 30c+ weather we are having which leaves the rooms like a sauna.

Perfect location. Room No 2 was lovely and clean which us what ya want dont you ?The only downside was that there was no one there to sign us in, we were supposed to of had an email giving us room number and code for the lock to get the key, Which we didnt get till tea time and we should of had it on the morning of our stay.There was no official staff and we didn't get sorted until the cleaner turned up he had to sort our room key for us.
