Blackpool South is close by, and the promenade with its attractions—Pleasure Beach, South Pier, Sandcastle Water Park—lies within walking distance. Central Pier, Madame Tussauds and Blackpool Tower are further along the coast. The tramway stop is nearby for transport along the seafront. St Annes and Lytham are accessible if you want to explore beyond the town, with their own beaches, independent shops and golf courses.

Now an Air BnB. Decent place to stay with fast food and small supermarkets close by. Only a 4 minute walk to the tram station. Several bedrooms most with double beds or multiple single beds. A few rooms have en suites. Comfy living room and well equipped kitchen. Charged us for towels and a lot of the showers in the rooms need repaired and updated as a lot of them only ran cold water and/or were damaged. The host had good communication. Would stay again.

An old-fashioned Blackpool B&B. Lovely. A friendly welcome with a decent sized well-appointed room and on-street parking. A good breakfast (except the cheap sausages!). Good value for money. Would use again. Thank you.

From the moment we got to the highbury hotel in blackpool bev and boyd. Made us feel so welcome as we had travelled down from hull was offered hot drinks straight away. Once we was showed to our room it's a proper home from home immaculate room and hotel a lovely cozy room with everything you need. And the location is so quiet seen as your literally minutes from all the attractions. The only way to describe this hotel if you want a true home from home this is the place to stay with bev (mother hen) and boyd ( fabulous food) they both can't do enough for you food amazing hospitality out of this world. And can truly say are proud to of found true friends in bev and boyd lots of love Wayne and Carol from Hull XXX definitely be seeing you again XXX

Great place to stay , from the moment you arrive , tea or coffee is made for you before you are taken to your room , Bev and Boyd are very friendly and welcoming people , always ready to help , great breakfast included in the price , good clean rooms with WiFi should you need it . we'll definitely stay again .
