About North Ocean Hotel
Rooms at the North Ocean Hotel come with en-suite bathrooms, in-room drinks and, in many cases, views out over the sea, giving guests a straightforward base right on the Promenade. Family rooms are available for those travelling with children, and there's a 24 hour reception for late arrivals or early starts.
Downstairs there's a bar for evening drinks and breakfast is included to set guests up for the day. Free WiFi is available throughout, and childcare can be arranged for parents wanting a night off. Bear in mind there's no parking at the property, so those driving will need to make separate arrangements.
The location puts guests within easy reach of Blackpool's attractions, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment all nearby, plus golf, fishing and watersports for those wanting to get outdoors, and walking areas close by for a stroll along the coast. Feedback on the hotel has been mixed, with a rating of 3.2 from 263 reviews, so it suits guests after simple, central seaside accommodation rather than a luxury stay.

If want just a bed without breakfast and evening meal i recommend here as well cheap! (You pay what you pay for) staff never about I've only seen them when I arrived on Friday night. The room ok if your lucky you might get a Seaview (not sure thats extra) the bed looked clean and comfortable. However the creaking floorboards, cobwebs on the ceiling, the room could do with some fresh paint. The carpet in room looked OK but the hallway and the stairs could do with a new carpet.

I'm putting 1 star here but not worth it. Filthy bathroom, unkempt unclean bedroom and bathroom. Toilet handle and shower head falling off the walls and tiles. Taps not even connected to the bath. Toilet itself filthy. Light over mirror in toilet not working. Curtains falling off the windows. Heater broken and dirty. TV small and sideways on the wall. Skirting boards stained with god knows what!!! Entrance hall shabby. Piece of unmatched square of wallpaper covering a hole or something. Carpets dirty. All in all so unpleasant. We couldn't even have a coffee as the kittle was dirty. Thought we were in a different place when we got there compared to what is advertised on line. Would never visit this place again. All in all, such an unpleasant experience and absolute waste of money.

Stayed here for £27 on a Saturday for work, the staff was friendly enough, very basic room needs the one or two things upgrading and replacing. For the price the bed was okay but the bed sheets was super clean looked brand new. I wouldn't stay again due to no hotel bar or restaurant. But overall if your here for work and need a place to stay then sure it's fine

Friendly staff. Room was dusty and the floor was filthy. A chair in the window was gross, stains all over it. The bathroom was disgusting, clumps of dust mixed with hair and not sure what else! Damp corners of the floor. The side's weren't any better. No where had been wiped. Windows were drafty. Kettle was filthy too
