About Phoenix Guest House

On-site parking at reasonable day rates is a rare find this close to Blackpool's seafront, and it's one of the practical perks at Phoenix Guest House on Cocker Street. This is a straightforward, homely guesthouse rather than a polished hotel, and it suits guests who want an uncomplicated base for exploring the town.

Rooms are simple and come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks facilities, and free WiFi, with family rooms available for those travelling in a group. A continental breakfast is included to set guests up for the day, and there's a garden with outdoor seating for relaxing outside. Luggage storage and 24-hour reception add a bit of flexibility around arrival and departure times.

The surrounding area caters to a range of interests, with golf, fishing, watersports, cycling and walking routes all within reach, plus pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby for evenings out. It's a no-frills option for those wanting easy access to Blackpool's attractions without paying for extras they won't use.

The tight confinement of the shower cubicle and the fact that it had not been thoroughly cleaned from the previous guest use. Too warm in the bedroom, no fan to move the air around. Didn't have a good night sleep during the two nights stay due to bed being too bouncy and unsupportive (compared with Premier Inn bed offering benchmark).. Had the largest double guest room that they have but I was surprised how compact it was.

This was my second time staying here and couldn’t recommend it more! It’s spotless inside and Adam has been so welcoming both times. Teas / coffees downstairs whenever you like and was very quiet both times and even upgraded my room which was so nice of him. Great location as only 10 mins walk from north station and close to trams and buses. I’ll be back again!

Been going regularly for last 7 years and was a decent place to stay, however last 2 times Adam didn't provide a kettle and was moody also last year he swore at me for something I didn't understand. This year he has banned me from the guest house telling my friend I was a problem and have now lost all of our custom

Just arrived back from an excellent stay. Very clean, I was in room number 5 which was a nice size. The shower was powerful and worked properly. The continental breakfast had a great choice and was to a high standard. Will definitely stay again.
