About The Hollingdales Hotel

A 24 hour reception is one of the more practical touches at The Hollingdales Hotel, useful for anyone arriving in Blackpool late or heading out to make the most of the town. The hotel sits on Tyldesley Road, within easy reach of the seafront, and offers straightforward, no-fuss accommodation for holidaymakers who want a base near the attractions rather than a lot of extras.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in room, and options for families needing more space. Some rooms show their age and basic amenities can be limited, so this suits guests after value over polish. Downstairs there's a bar and a games room for evenings in, plus free WiFi throughout, and parking is available for those driving up.

Staff are generally noted as friendly and ready to help, which counts for a lot on a seaside break. Beyond the hotel, the area offers golf, fishing, cycling and walking routes, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment, making it easy to fill the days and evenings without travelling far.

For the price you pay you can't really complain about anything. Great little hotel. Fantastic location. Literally a 60 second walk to the beach. The lady at reception was so lovely, warm and welcoming. Beds linen etc were practically new. Everything is so nice and clean. . Nice little place. Will be back again. Thanks for a great stay

I stayed on Friday 24th July when I arrived they was a huge stench , the women on reception was so rude and unpleasant !!!! The room stunk , mould all over , 2 bags of cocaine under the sink also where my children was. We arrived at 3pm for the correct check in time and we was turned away as there was no rooms ready. Later that evening I also witnessed a homaphobic attack in this hotel where I believe the hotel owner let 2 men into a young males room which I believe was room 1-2 and battered him all over in front of me and my children and there own children too I definitely would NOT recommend, stinks , unpleasant and have 0 manors or respect for anyone else

I had to post here because nobody responded to my mum. Phone calls went unanswered, nobody answered when she knocked on the door, and emails were completely ignored. When I arrived at the hotel, I was shocked by the condition of the property and had no choice but to leave. There was blood on the pillowcases, rubbish on the floor, no hot water, doors that appeared to have been smashed in, and flooring that was lifted and uneven. My mum suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, and the lifted flooring caused her to injure herself. This raised serious health and safety concerns and should never have happened. The condition of the hotel was completely unacceptable, and the lack of communication only made matters worse. We made every effort to contact someone by phone, email, and in person but received no response at all. Due to the condition of the hotel, my mum’s injury, and the complete lack of customer service, Im requesting a full refund immediately. I would appreciate an urgent response regarding both my complaint and refund.
