Pure Perthshire peace unfolds across 800 acres at Mains of Creuchies Farm, a working family property where three generations of Simpsons tend the land and wild camping takes centre stage. Pitches scatter from the banks of the Alyth Burn to more remote moorland spots at elevations of 170–260 metres, offering sweeping views over the Strathmore Valley towards the Angus Glens. Deer, grouse, curlews and oystercatchers share the space, and a strict leave-no-trace policy keeps the impact light.

This is genuinely wild camping—no toilets, showers, drinking water, electricity or wifi—so come prepared with full self-sufficiency in mind. Campfires and barbecues are welcome, dogs are allowed year-round, and you're never likely to feel crowded. Limited mobile coverage on some networks adds to the sense of disconnection. The village of Alyth sits five miles away for supermarkets, butchers and cafés when you need them, but up here it's all about quiet, open space and the chance to properly unplug.
