The Glamping Pods and the area was exactly as described and the room was exactly as pictured. It was a very peaceful get away and would highly recommend. Lindsay has great contact throughout the booking experience and was always polite. She dropped by once we arrived to show us around and how to work the appliances. She was very welcoming and lovely. I think this is the first place where everything is well looked after and the customer service matches

We had a wonderful stay at Southwell Retreat. The hosts clearly put a huge amount of thought into every detail to make guests feel comfortable and cared for. The accommodation was spotless, cosy, and fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and amenities for a relaxing stay. Everything was carefully prepared to make the experience convenient and stress-free. It’s rare to find a place where so much attention is given to guest comfort and small details. You can really feel the care and effort that goes into creating a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and thoughtfully managed retreat. We would happily stay again!

Me and my boyfriend visited for birthdays and it was amazing!! The pod we stayed in was lovely, very clean and tidy. There was a woman there as soon as we arrived (I don’t remember her name though sorry 🫣) who helped us whenever we needed. The surrounding areas are beautiful and there is a lovely town nearby that we went to see during our stay. The hot tub is great aswell both me and my boyfriend loved it! Would 100% recommend!!!!

Absolutely loved our stay here when we visited for a family wedding. The pod had everything we needed and even had a microwave. Beds were comfy and everything was clean and well maintained. Having the hot tub was an extra treat the kids loved and the preheating option so convenient!
