About Bow Laithe Caravan Site
Tucked into lovely Lancashire countryside on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bow Laithe Caravan Site is a tiny, adults-only retreat expressly designed for peace and quiet. No large groups are accepted, so you're guaranteed space to unwind on one of the handful of electric hardstanding or grass touring pitches, each with views out over Pendle Hill and the River Ribble flowing just past the park.
It's a splendid location for walks and cycling – the Forest of Bowland offers extensive exploration on your doorstep, while the Yorkshire Dales National Park is half an hour's drive. If a short stroll is more your speed, two pubs lie within 20 minutes on foot. Back on site, you're welcome to light up a barbecue for an alfresco evening (supplies available in Clitheroe, 10 minutes away). Dogs are allowed year-round, and motorcycles are welcome too.
Simply pick any free pitch on arrival and settle in for a relaxing break surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Unfortunately we won’t be staying here again! Stayed for two nights and didn’t get much sleep because of the noise from the road! Tractors etc all through the night! We didn’t see the owners! No one came to see if everything was okay etc. I know there’s a number you can call if you have any issues. But to me think owners should at least come and introduce themselves. At some point while you are on site! Just makes it a touch more personal.

Beautiful Campsite, Kerry made us very welcome, stayed Thursday to Sunday, we had non electric pitch as we have solar, lovely walk to Sawley on Friday and then lovely walk to Bolton by Bowland on Saturday, very peaceful site, would definitely return 🙂 thank you for a lovely stay x

I’ve just enjoyed a lovely night’s stay here (video showing it in detail on my YouTube channel). It’s a well laid out site, and such a beautiful location just a couple of minutes walk to the riverside. Only a mile walk to the Spread Eagle pub at Sawley and close to the beautiful village of Bolton-by-Bowland worth a wander around and it has a fine dining pub, the Coach & Horses. Minimal facilities so being self contained helps, I needed levelling blocks when pitching up. People have mentioned road noise but my experience of it was not loud at all and nothing from evening. I loved this site and will return and happily recommend.

Met friends here who were staying due to close proximity to a local Festival. The property was quite small, with small bathrooms, however it was well maintained and the hot tub was great. They told me how much they had paid for the place and it knocked me abit sick to be honest. Still, luxury if you can afford it I guess
