Just stayed at acre hill lodge for 3 nights. Lovely place to stay, very quiet and peaceful. Was spotlessly clean on arrival, had everything we needed. Surrounded by fields and animals. Added bonus could take all 3 of my dogs who also loved their first holiday! Great little getaway before Christmas madness starts They loved time in the enclosed garden and also seeing the chickens, ducks and cows. We didn’t want to leave and will hopefully be back next year too! Vicki was great, checked in with us to make sure everything was fine On arrival we had Prosecco, mince pies, milk, fresh eggs and even treats for the dogs. Also had a welcome drawing from the owners daughter (I did take it home too) 😊 Big thank you from myself, mum, Ella, Bobbie and Marty 🐾

We had a lovely holiday, staying in the lodge. Very comfortable, clean and had an amazing views over the cow field. Owners were really friendly and the site lovely and quiet. The camping field we saw looked really nice. We loved seeing the cows in the morning, we also had a twice daily visit from a cute cat every day. Although it’s very peaceful, it doesn’t take long to get on the main roads. We visited Blackpool twice, but Clitheroe was just beautiful, everything we look for on an English holiday. Highly recommended and we would love to go back.

Spent a delightful weekend up at Acre Hill booking both The Lodge and The Cottage together for a group booking for guests for our wedding Party , we had a lovley welcome of Vicki our host on our arrival who couldn't do enough for us her help & attention to detail was fantastic throughout our stay. Acrehill is sourounded by gorgeous views of the fells and surrounding countryside and being on a working farm it was lovley to see the free range Hens and animals wandering freely by . The Lodge and cottage were impeccably clean to a high standard they were both well kitted out with all the home from home comforts, a gorgeous bottle of bubbly , flowers & balloons were placed in both the Lodge and cottage made it feel special for all. The rooms were to a high speck and spotlessly clean ,everything was to hand ,fresh towels, clean sheets and a gorgeous well come pack left consisting of Fresh Farm eggs ,milk & Biscuits. Both property's had log burners so logs and fire lighters were left to hand & we were warm & cosy at nights. On the whole it was a 10/10 stay for us and we can deffinatly recommend it to all , I certainly will be booking either the cottage or Lodge again soon as we want to see more of the Ribble Valley and explore some of the surrounding walks on offer ,we carnt wait till we come back. Thankyou Vicki and all at Acre hill holidays.

We had an incredible stay at Acre Hill Cottage in the Forest of Bowland! The quirky layout of the converted stables added a unique charm, and the large garden at the rear was perfect for relaxing. The decked area and fire pit made for cozy evenings, and the gas BBQ was a lovely touch. We were fortunate with the weather, allowing us to BBQ the night away with a few drinks to wash it down. Highly recommend this delightful retreat for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!
