Kingfishers

Kingfishers comes with everything needed for independent cooking and living: a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge, washing machine, heating, linen, towels and wifi all included. The ground floor has an open-plan living and dining space with a smart TV and doors onto a terrace. Bedroom 1 contains a double and single bed; Bedroom 2 has a single; the first floor holds the kingsize bedroom with its own ensuite shower. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower. A welcome pack arrives with you.

The location is on the River Stour in Christchurch, with a jetty and garden access to a shared slipway where you can launch your own kayak or paddleboard. The heated outdoor pool is shared with other properties on-site and open from early June to the end of September. Christchurch itself is within easy walking distance, with independent shops, restaurants and a food hall. The area is known for walking trails around the harbour, and Hengistbury Head, Mudeford beaches and Stanpit Marsh are all nearby. The New Forest is a 15-minute drive away; Bournemouth town centre and its seven-mile coastline lie in the opposite direction. No smoking. The property sleeps five and does not suit families with children under 2 years old.
