About Burn How Garden Hotel
Burn How Garden Hotel suits couples and groups who want to be near Lake Windermere without giving up hotel comforts like a restaurant, bar and 24 hour reception. It's a straightforward base for a Lakes break: somewhere to come back to after a day on the water or the fells, rather than a destination in itself.
The hotel has 28 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, and there's a gym on-site for anyone keen to keep up a routine while away. The restaurant and bar give guests the option of eating in without heading into town, useful on quieter evenings or after a long walk.
Bowness-on-Windermere itself is close by, with its shops and waterside atmosphere, and the surroundings offer plenty to fill a stay: fishing, horse riding, watersports and a golf course are all nearby, along with pubs and bars for evenings out. It works well as a base for exploring the lake and the wider area on foot, on water, or by car.
