Fallbarrow is perfectly placed in the middle of Bowness - a couple of minutes walk to the pier and town centre. Excellent base. The park itself is lovely, lodges with stunning lake views, all positioned to give privacy. Our Lodge was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. The on site bar and restaurant is really good - air conditioned inside - very welcome during the heatwave - and the food is also very good. We'll be back!

All in all a great week. The lodge we booked was really clean and in a great location. Plus the wraparound decking was great for keeping the dog from escaping!! Fallbarrow is central for everything in Bowness so we walked everywhere. Pubs/Restaurants were all superb and prices were great. Already looking for our next adventure.

Hey guys! Thanks for looking after my family again. I want to start with a negative, which is really a huge positive.... When we arrived both our lodges had different but weird smells. The team on the desk could not have been more enthusiastic to solve the issue for us. Suggested solutions which didn't work, promptly upgraded us to next available accomodation and seemed so happy to solve our problems. To top things off my wife left an expensive time piece and her phone at the property and we got a call back to discuss how to return them. They called us before we realised we left them in the room, it would have been so easy to take that watch. Service is easy when everything is going well. There's just no substitute for genuine people keen on making your stay memorable when things do wrong. Such lovely and helpful people. See you next year and thanks for keeping the watch and phone safe. 💞

Stayed in the waterfront cabin with balcony. Gorgeous views, definitely worth it. Very convenient pub on location with good food, the kids were kept entertained in the games room. Short walk to town with easy access to buses and taxis/ uber readily available. Great service, thanks to the team for some fabulous recommendations including pub lunches and walks. Internet was absolutely terrible, the only downside to our stay.
