Cineworld Bracknell

We were very happy with our movie experience at Cineworld Bracknell. We booked the 4DX experience and the kids were especially excited to watch the Mario movie. The 4D effects were strong and immersive, and we really enjoyed the film overall. The cinema itself felt very modern, and the sound system was excellent. Compared with a visit I made to another Cineworld around 10 years ago, the quality has clearly improved a lot. That said, I did find the 3D picture a little less sharp at times, and the brightness could perhaps be improved, although that may have been due to the 3D glasses. Parking was a little inconvenient since you cannot park right next to the cinema, but we used the Princess Street car park and it was only about a 5-minute walk. The film itself was around an hour and a half long, with roughly 25 minutes of adverts and trailers beforehand. There were quite a few trailers, but that may be helpful for anyone running late. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience. The price was on the higher side, but for the overall experience, it was almost worth it.

Took my lad to see The masters of the universe 4DX. Absolutely exceeded expectation. I must admit, I did not know what I was letting myself in for and when the chair started to rumble I wasn't sure if I was going to last an entire movie. That being said, it absolutely highlighted everything about the film. It was a really cool experience. I would definitely do again for superhero films. Special shout out to the gentleman on the door who gave us some fantastic facts about the film afterwards, including that it was filmed in Canary wharf. Would be great if they did a discount for military on things such as snacks.

We went with some friends to see the mandalorian and grogu movie and I hadn't realy watched star wars and still loved it. The displays were just great and there are plenty of options for snacks and popcorn. We loved the semi-futuristic atmosphere and begged are parents to buy us the cool grogu popcorn bucket.

Cineworld in Bracknell is the closest 4DX cinema to me. 4DX is an all immersive way to watch films. The seat moves and rumbles with panels in chairs popping out to press on you. They use squirts of air and water to emphasise on screen action (water can be turned off). In the cinema, they use bright lights to enhance explosions and lightning on screen and there is a smoke machine for fog efforts. Great fun though it won’t be for everyone as the shaking can get quite intense at times
