We stayed for a few weeks, it was one of our fave campsites. There is a really nice community feel. The regulars came and said hi, offered us a fire and drink together, but quiet/respectful. The owner was really responsive and lovely. Its a great location, nice bit of a nature tucked away. Super safe. We found internet/signal a bit tricky on our network (we work from our RV), but we just bought a different sim card that worked better in the area. We were in a huge American RV fiftwheel (9m long 4m high), the campsite accommodated our size fine. We parked on a pitch close enough to the water tap. Slightly tight turn to get in to the field with our size, so had to cut some tree branches back, but our unit is extremely big and articulated. Most large vehicles would get in no problem, and the turnins is off a big main road so no access issues. Everything kept clean. Great campsite. We loved it, definitely will be back again next year!

I’ve never left a negative review before but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a campsite. After I made my reservation they continued to take unauthorised payments from me for services I did not use and now I am involved in a lengthy process to recover the money. You should be aware that when you pay by card they have your details and will not hesitate to hit you up for hidden fees without your consent. The campsite itself is a field with no facilities next to a noisy road on the Heathrow flight path. Best avoided.

Turned up and our toilet and fire pit were ready in our spot with a decent size bag of firewood as well.Pitched up our tent and watched the local cricket team play for a while before having food.Restaurant is very close by and local supermarkets are within a 5/10 minute drive.A good site if you’re just planning and doing some wild camping. No showers or washing facilities but as it was only for two nights wasn’t a problem. The pitches are a decent size and there was a good size bit of grass in the middle for any sort of games.Worth a visit.

Tricky one this - lots of van lifers/ workers but very quiet and good for exploring locally. NO TOILETS OR SHOWERS but hook-up - very unusual. Was ok for us but not for everyone.
