Far View Cottage
Bradford
Far View Cottage sits alone on the moors above Bradford, reached by a single-track lane through open countryside. The setting is genuinely remote—moorland stretches across the horizon from the bedroom window, and the walking starts at the gate. Skipton lies within reach for supplies and the market, while Haworth and Oakworth are nearby if you want a change of scene, but the cottage itself feels properly isolated.
This is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom property sleeping two, occupying the ground and first floors of a converted 17th-century farmstead. Downstairs holds a sitting room with an open fire (logs and coal provided to start you off) and a separate kitchen/dining room with a full range of appliances including dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs is a kingsize bedroom with an ensuite roll-top bath and shower. The cottage is yours alone, with parking on site and a patio and garden with seating and a barbecue. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; the water supply is private to the property. One well-behaved dog can stay free of charge. No smoking, and the cottage does not accept children.
