We had such a wonderful stay at Waterfall Ponden Mill and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, Richard and Barbara made us feel so welcome. Their kindness, warmth and genuine hospitality really stood out and made us feel at home. Every member of staff we met was friendly, helpful and always had a smile, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by stunning countryside. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind and explore Yorkshire. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a memorable stay. It’s rare to find somewhere where you feel genuinely looked after, but that’s exactly how we felt here. A huge thank you to Richard, Barbara and the whole team for making our trip so special. We have left with wonderful memories and will definitely be recommending Waterfall Ponden Mill to our family and friends. We can’t wait to come back!

The Ponden Inn is a great place to stay while hiking the Pennine Way. It’s right off the trail, without adding extra miles to the day. The Inn is in close proximity to the house that allegedly inspired the location of Wuthering Heights. Day hikes around the area will immerse you in the rich, literary history of the Bronte sisters. The Inn has a Tea House open on the weekends (at least at the time of this review). The bar is currently open on Sundays. The property, with a stream running through it, is picturesque and serene. There is also camping onsite with bathrooms available to campers. Note: there aren’t any nearby pubs or places for takeaway. You have to take a taxi to Haworth - ~3 miles.

Beautiful location. Falling water was absolutely amazing and the hosts were lovely, very welcoming and accommodating. Definitely recommend this as a location to get away and switch off from the world

We stayed in a wagon for our anniversary. 2 nights and didn't wanna leave! Not only is it snug and comfy and romantic, with good shower and easily accessible toilets etc... but it's very well cared for and the owners are lovely! A nice surprise for us was a picnic basket with a full continental breakfast delivered to our little spot each morning- fresh fruit and warm fluffy croissants and a flask of tea- we over prepped for a camping experience and were treated to luxuries which made my wife and I feel like VIPs. All the folks up at the house were lovely, stocking the wood for the fire pit and.. AND supreme tea and coffee facilities with fancy biccis!!! If you're a couple, it's an ideal get away for any celebration. I'd definitely come back with friends for a chill session- there was lots to explore, Richard supplied us with a map... but we didn't really leave our site... the chairs by the fire just gave us the peace we needed. Worth every penny. Loved it. Huge glass klinking cheers to the folks! Thanks!
