The Hermit Inn Hideout occupies the first floor above a characterful 300-year-old pub, reached by 12 steps to the entrance. You arrive into a living room with Freeview Smart TV and comfortable seating, with a separate dining room and fully equipped kitchen adjoining. The kitchen has electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine, so you can cook properly or simply heat things through. One bedroom holds a super kingsize bed; the other has two double beds. The shower room is compact but functional. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, and there is parking for one car on site.
The location sits on the edge of Ilkley Moor, where walking trails begin practically at your door and lead into the surrounding Yorkshire countryside. Ilkley itself—a Victorian spa town with cafés, shops and restaurants—is close by. The pub downstairs serves homemade food including pies, pizzas and burgers, plus a strong selection of ales. The outdoor seating area commands views across the Wharfe Valley. A highchair is available if needed, and one well-behaved pet can stay free. The property is non-smoking throughout.

Had a fantastic lunch here with my wife and two kids. The food was sensational. I had the Korean fried chicken burger and my wife had three courses of soup of the day (tomato-amazing), margarita pizza and sticky toffee pudding. All were excellent. Great beer, great views and very friendly service. Well priced also. I would highly recommended this place for a lovely meal in a relaxed setting with great views.

Fantastic team, great food and a beautiful viewpoint. We rate their homemade ice cream and have to go back to try all the flavours on offer. Coffee is great and we recommend their newest offering of breakfast on Fridays and Saturdays.

Gorgeous pub! Friendly staff and the food is amazing! Proper home cooked meals away from home. Bit on the expensive side...but...the portions make up for it and its quality ingredients. Such amazing views! Will definitely be back when nxt in the area, will be bringing the family

We had the tempura broccoli and the truffle Parmesan fries. Broccoli was delicious, I’m sure even kids would eat these veggies and the fries were all evenly coated and flavourful. To finish we had the home made ice cream scoops, chocolate and banana with butterscotch sauce, also fantastic. Nice views from The terrace, perfect after a warm day hiking in the sun on Ilkley moor.
