Beautiful location and views. Easy check in and secure barrier access. Flat hard standing pitches. Toilet/shower block and elsan point. Fresh and waste water point. 4* for service only due to not so easy to use grey water disposal from onboard tank. Lovely site. Would definitely come back.

Just had a 3 night stay here. Stayed in Beech pod. Clean and comfortable, beds really comfy, perfect for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Yes there’s planes from the nearby airport but they are not frequent enough to be bothersome. We observed the pitches to be clean and well set out. Spotless bathrooms that were cleaned at least daily that I saw. Pot wash excellent, nice touch of tea coffee and milk in the pod and pot wash area for the campers. Would recommend and will definitely be back, thank you to all at Clarion Lodge campsite.

Nice little campsite in a beautiful rural spot with lots of very nice touches. However, the small road (which our pitch was next to) was busy from early in the morning and the planes taking off from Leeds Bradford fly low right over the campsite so, the tranquillity was shattered early. The pub nearby is currently closed.

I work in the area every week, and my usual hotel was full, so I decided to try something different. Web booking was simple, and the follow up details provided made the self check in easy. The camping pod was warm and comfortable, and I was surprised to find tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided. The site was quiet, so I couldn't see how the facilities coped at full stretch, so I can't give the room 5 stars. The location is lovely. Although it doesn't bother me, there is some noise from the airport. I'll book again as this makes a welcome change to hotels.
